Police Will Take Action!

I reported the other day that there had been an attempted break in on Whiston Avenue. Residents asked me to request a more visible police presence in the Avenue. I did that as you would expect.

Wednesfield Police team have informed me that, the crime was reported to the police. As per policy for all victims of crime, the Neighbourhood  team will conduct reassurance visits to both the injured party and neighbours.

They will look at opportunities to target harden, by providing crime prevention advice. The team will be heightened to the incident and will write the road into their patrol strategy.

I do hope that this information is useful to residents in Whiston Avenue. Please keep an eye open for suspicious characters and events taking place. The community can play a big role in reducing crime. This has been proven earlier this week, when community information relating to drug possession, has resulted in positive police action. So folks be aware!IMG_0389 JPG Police bus
