Today I contacted West Midlands Fire Service and asked them to make a free safety check in my home. They duly arrived and also fitted me a free smoke safety alarm, plus they did the same for my neighbour.
My advice to my constituents here in Wednesfield North is to ring 0800 389 5525 or email if you prefer West Midlands Fire Service – contact.centre@wmfs.net and ask them to visit your home with a view to giving you free safety advice and smoke alarms if required.
Besides as my neighbour said to me “Its always nice to have a fire officer in the house!”
