382 Buses Every 10 hours Serves Wednesfield Village!

Local public transport is important to any town village or city. Most people talk about the importance of cars as a provider of movement.

But here in the Village of Wednesfield, the High Street is very well supported by Public Transport. Indeed just two operators provide 382 buses every 10 hours during the working day into and out of the Village. This is a very good level of service and does much to provide the High St businesses and retailers with a steady stream of customers through out the day.

Both Arriva and National Express West Midlands run services from and too other parts of the city, and further a field. Cannock and Walsall being amongst the towns locally that are linked directly to Wednesfield.

Overall this level of service is good for Wednesfield and obviously helps promote trade and  provides good transportation. Incidentally the Wednesfield High Street at the time I enquired to how many empty shops were present, had in fact just four empty properties. One less than the same time I asked last year. The Government is still insisting that we are still in austerity mode.

If the economy improves the potential for even more services improve.

Here is the list of services operating into the Village and the service numbers Arriva BAQwjq9CIAEXS4H NX Hybrid Busand frequency.
