A Great Day in Wednesfield!

I just love being involved in Local Politics, and it is days like today that make it for me!

I have been up since very early promoting Wednesfield on Social Media, then answering constituents questions. Followed by a visit to the Wednesfield canal OOOPS! sorry the Wyrley and Essington canal at Wednesfield Bentley Bridge. Where we  met with the seven wonderful traders that have sailed  into the Village today on their fantastic 11800517_1059574917388368_4387192033869940022_n Floating Market Wednesfield 1Aug 2015Narrow boats!

There we promoted their goods, and we presented the first Narrow Boat that docked with Ray Fellows brilliant book ” Wednesfield Our Village’.

We met and greeted folks from all across Wednesfield and then went others who had travelled further. Following that the Black Country Fuchsia Society were showing their flowers at the Hub at Ashmore Park. Again we met and greeted folks. Spoke to them was In awe at the plants and again spoke up about our people and our Village.

In fact I think we did a good job today Mary and I in promoting everything that is good in Wednesfield, oiling the economic wheels, and generally just helping. Now I am knackered but happy!
