Ashmore Inn- Nominated for National Award

Earlier today I learned that the Ashmore Inn has been nominated for an important National Award.

This is what the Landlord had announced – “Morning, just to let you know, the Ashmore as been nominated as a “local hero pub of the year,” at government level.

he went onto say “If we win or not, this is a massive achievement and I want to thank everyone involved from the bottom of my heart xx”

Wednesfield North Councillors want to add our congratulations to this great news.

Well done Kevin Ward and the Ashmore Inn – Always innovative, always at the heart of the estate.

Innovative with, and in support of the residents of Ashmore Park Estate, when launching the Ashmore Park Food Bank earlier this year.

Great support in continuing to work with the current home of the Food Bank at St Albans Church.

We hope that the nomination for the Local Hero Pub of the Year Award is hugely successful . What is certain is that this Public House is already an award winning Public House of Community Interest, because of the great work you and your Patrons do,in all the areas of life here in Ashmore Park.

Good Luck to you in this the latest honour to come the Ashmore Inn way. Very Proud of you and your staff, and your customers. Congratulations from Mary Rita and myself.
