Ashmore Park Shopping Parade -Toilets

We have two Public Toilets which are located on the Ashmore Park Shopping Parade. One is available to Mobility impaired people who have their own access through the use of a RADAR key
The general use toilet is currently ‘Out of Use’,This is because the Public Toilet entry mechanism has been damaged.

I have been pressing to get the entry mechanism either fixed or replaced, because of the difficulty it is causing to shoppers who want to use the toilets whilst they are shopping.

The Local Authority are making every effort to press the private operator who maintained the toilets to provide the replacement part, which is now urgently required.
The disability toilet remains open with the use of a RADAR key for those mobility users that have the use of such a RADAR key.

I have made it known that the closure of the general toilet is causing much annoyance amongst shoppers unable to use the Public Toilet currently. I will keep residents aware of any developments, as they are made known to me.
