Autumn Leafs & The City Council

Autumn is one of the most beautiful season’s we have. The trees are quite beautiful at the moment with the leafs changing and taking on the great gold, and red colours of autumn.

But it is that time of the year that some roadside trees will soon start shedding their leafs. When that happens the leafs soon become wet and slippery underfoot.

If you are concerned about slippery leafs by your or your neighbours house, particularly where the elderly reside, please let the City Council know on 01902 551155 and they will respond as soon as they can,  or why not do a good deed for the day and sweep them up yourself – such a simple act is a great help both to the City and to your neighbours! The other great thing to do is to use the leafIMG_4957s in a compost bin, and give your garden a boost with the mulch in the spring  and summer of the next year!
