Wolverhampton City Council last year passed a resolution saying that they would fly the City Flag on every Anniversary of this great battle, and they will again on this up coming date.

I am appealing to all our Wednesfield residents who fly the flag at home on St Georges Day, or for footballing or sporting events to also do likewise on the 5th & 6th of August or for the whole of this week if you like!!

I would also like to see Wednesfield businesses and Voluntary Groups doing the same Perhaps even the flag flying from the Churches including St Thomas’s…..! Today I have started it off by unfurling the flag over my house! Come & join me folks!
