Bentley Bridge Retail Park -Increased Footfall Joy!

Bentley Bridge Retail Park is an important retail centre for Wednesfield, Wolverhampton and the Black Country.

It provides good local jobs in retail, for our local community. It is also a great attractor of visitors. 24/August week – 42,348 visitors came to the Retail Park.

Covid-19 arrangements have knocked the stuffing out of the High Street trading all over the UK.

So its with some pleasure that we see, In terms of footfall numbers., That the latest data set shows that whilst the Shopping Park is 28.6% down on the same week last year(2019) , things are 5% up on last week and well ahead of national average, with a clear recovery in train following the easing of restrictions.

I know the owners of the site are hopefully this movement upwards will continue, and like everyone else, we are all keen to avoid a second lockdown!

So Wednesfield considering where we are within the Covid-19 Pandemic, we should see this recovery as good news!
