Today I have emailed the Catholic Church asking that they make safe the hedge, that is overgrowing the footpath outside of Corpus Christi Church, here on Ashmore Park.
Councillor Phil Bateman said “I am sure the Church Authorities will be concerned about this issue, and I will let readers know of the response when I receive it.
A number of local people have made their concerns known to me, over the last few weeks. The hedge has ‘spikey leaves’ and is growing quite quickly now through the fence now Spring is arriving . Growing beyond head height the hedge is quite formidable.”
