Regeneration is the name of the game, and Wolverhampton City Council continues to sell land for housing. Here in Wednesfield North a number of former garage sites and other redundant land, that had been abandoned or in a state of decay have been sold for much needed housing.
The latest site to be treated in this way is a garage site sold at CP Bigwood on the 30th April 2015.
The surplus former garage site located behind 30 – 36 Bargery Road Ashmore Park (potentially considered suitable for 1-2 residential housing plots) was sold and achieved a capital receipt of approximately £19k for the City.
Other sites right across Wolverhampton are being identified and will be made ready for sale.
