City of Wolverhampton Covid -19 Infection Rate!

Covid-19 infection rate

Councillor Phil Bateman said “Today we have been briefed on the way that the Covid-19 virus is still
continuing to multiply in our City, please do all you can to follow the guidance and help to curtail
the growth in the infection rate”

The Covid-19 infection rate in Wolverhampton is 306.46 cases per 100,000 people per week between 1st November and 7th November.

This compares to 290.08 cases per 100,000 people per week between 25th October and 31st October.

Figures show that more than 800 people in Wolverhampton tested positive for Covid-19 last week –
and the true number of cases is likely to be significantly higher given that some people who
contract the virus do not show any symptoms and so will not be aware they are Covid-19 positive.
