St Patrick's Day Celebrations!

Today is officially St Patrick's Day and this morning Mary and I attended the Annual St Patrick's Day celebrations in the Mayors Parlour.

This tradition was started by Mary and I when we were Mayor and Mayoress in 2006.

This mornings celebrations raised more than £500 for the current Mayor Councillor Trudy Bowens charity fund. There was a real good turn out and I met several families from Wednesfield who attended.

St Patrick's Day is one of those days when you know you are in for a good time! After that I had some gentle exercise by delivering a newsletter to Coppice Farm estate.

I enjoyed the walk and meeting constituents who were enjoying a little bit of sunshine! I found a broken cable cover in Redwood Way and I have reported the hazard to Highways.
