Recently I have had requests from users of the Coppice Farm Walkways to have some of the vegetation cut back as it is impeding the footways and creating difficulties for the walkers, especially when they have a child’s Buggy or are in company of a Wheel chair user.
I contacted the City Council who inspected the routes, and they have now informed me that –
“It was Inspected – 12/08/2019 – The entrances reported as overgrown are on the Walsall side of the open space – map attached not Wolverhampton, hopefully they have it on programmed maintenance as we do. “
I will be contacting Walsall MBC to ensure that they are aware of the impediments and that they will take some quick action to deliver the maintenance programme that is required for safe and easy access.
The Coppice Farm Walkways are hugely popular for both Wednesfield and Walsall residents, they are rich in bird life and they provide a decent infrastucture for an enjoyable walk.
