The Covid-19 infection rate in the city remains high with 348 cases per 100,000 people per week between 8 November and 14 November. This compares to 331.87 cases per 100,000 people per week between 1 November and 7 November. For context, the current highest rate in the UK is 731.0 per 100,000 in Kingston upon Hull and the lowest is 77.6 per 100,000 in Isle of Wight.

We continue to remind residents about the importance of following the Covid-19 guidance. On Saturday, 12 arrests were made at a demonstration in Wolverhampton city centre for breaching guidance around social distancing and lockdown measures which ban public gatherings.
