The latest data shows there were 171.22 cases of Covid-19 per 100,000 residents over the seven days to 18 October, compared to 133.63 in the seven days up to 11 October. It remains critical that we share the messages on measures to prevent the spread of Covid. As you are aware, Wolverhampton was placed within the Covid-19 High Alert category last week and subject to Tier 2 restrictions. Cllr Phil Bateman added ” All through this Pandemic I have tried to ensure residents in Wednesfield North have good information, as we all try to stop the spread of the virus. This information falls into that category.the swing upwards of infections is not a good thing. Please do your best to wear face coverings when out and about, wash your hands regularly, and give space when in public.”
