Covid -19 Latest Stats and Car Crime Raises Fears

Good Morning Wednesfield North -Today is Sunday 26th April 2020. The weather isn’t going to be as good as it has been recently.
Here is the latest News I have on CoVid-19

• 148,377 -Total Number of Lab-Confirmed UK Cases
• 4,913 – Daily Number of Lab Confirmed UK cases
• 20,319 -Deaths of Patients Covid-19 UK deaths in Hospital
• 813 New deaths reported Saturday (26/04/2020)
• 693-cases in Wolverhampton +37
• 224 (+6) Deaths at Royal Wolverhampton Trust

These are difficult stats and it underlines the importance of following the guidance that the Government and the Authorities are offering. We all need to be aware and not get complacent! Wash your hands and please stay socially distant. Losing 224 local people is a devastating blow to their close family and relations.

Other Wednesfield News – I have had to write to the Police again, because of huge concerns being voiced by residents in Wednesfield North about cars and motor cycles racing through the Ward. Putting lives at risk, as they take advantage of light traffic to race around.
There has also been some car crime with a car being stolen outside of Wednesfield then set on fire in disused garages on Ashmore Park. Fire Service attended the car. But neighbours remain concerned and anxious.
