Good Morning Wednesfield – Here are the latest results from Monday the 1st of February testing. at The Hub at Ashmore Park testing station’ We are getting very good turnouts and todays was slightly up on last weeks.

Our Local and very new Corona Virus Testing Station at The Hub at Ashmore Park on Griffiths Drive Opened again on Monday 1st February. The station first started testing residents on the 21st January.

On Monday 1st Feb 2021–
• There were 110 Current Day attendees
• The attendees that tested positive were just 2.
• There were zero invalid tests
• The cumulative total for the day was 110.

This makes the total cumulative statistics
• 837 Cumulative Negative test to date.
• 30 Cumulative Positive tests to date
• 5 invalid tests to date
• 872 Persons tested since start.

My advice remains that residents should continue to test. Please be aware that there is a new Corona Variant that has been discovered in Walsall. Continued testing is very much the way for ward for all of us.

You can turn up at The Hub seven days after you have had a previous test. The information positively encourages you to take this course of action. Jack Weaver will be acting as the guide. Its a friendly service if you haven’t tested yet. Today is the day!

Please stay safe, wash your hands and stay at home as much as you can.
