This is a fence in Barnard Road that was in a dangerous and dilapidated condition on the 21st March when I first spotted it! You can see the state it was in by looking at the photograph at the top of the page. It was vandalised and doing nothing to protect the site behind. Plus it was an ‘eye-sore’ to residents.
When we were canvassing the street on the 21st March, I could see what an eyesore and a dangerous state it was in. So I contacted the city council to request that the City Officials contact the private owners to make the fence safe. That is exactly what happened.
Local Councillors are here to make a difference…..In this case you can see that we did!
