Deepest sympathy and condolences – Neville Patten

Today Mary and I were informed that former Conservative Party Leader on City of Wolverhampton Council
-Honorary Alderman Neville Patten had passed away after a short illness.

Neville was always on the opposite side of the political divide to me.

Neville was nevertheless a proud Wulfrunian, giving many years of his life to our City.

Mary and I pay our respects to him today. We also offer his wife Pat,
our deepest sympathy and condolences.

Neville made a significant contribution to the history of our City,
a former employee of Travel West Midlands, I often bumped into him
whilst at work.
We were never bosom friends, but there were occasions where a laugh and a joke
could be passed. Rest In Peace Neville.
