The 134m2 glass and steel extension forms the centrepiece of the new hub which also houses a modern purpose-built library.
The new Library is the centre piece of the new Hub. There has been a very encouraging response to the relocation of the new library facility in the Hub. Comparing periods of lending at the former Ashmore Park Library, and then comparing it with the items loaned from the new Hub library.
There appears to be an increase in loans of 1.56%. The use and activity is seen by the City Council administration as being much more than just encouraging. Nationally library loans are declining and so are other items loaned at other local Librarys.
We have a very useful facility here at Ashmore Park and I do hope that more residents living in Wednesfield North will come and discover the facility, stay and read. Use the computers that are available, and perhaps take tea at the café that is in there, and have a natter with friends.
