On Friday night I had it reported to me that a Fridge had been fly – tipped in Woodside, Ashmore Park Wednesfield. I didn’t pick the message up until after 4.00pm on the night, and with the week end fast approaching I feared that the fridge would be left for an extended stay …. I was partly right because I was unable to reach the City department until close on 5.00pm .
I went back to the constituent who told me that they had originally reported the Fridge dumped at the road side ‘over a week ago’. I went back with that information to the city council. Who promised me they would do their best to deal with the matter.
Now the good news is that I am informed that the fridge was collected by the City at just after 9.00am this morning….and that led my constituent Jim, contact me again this afternoon.
Jim said “The fridge was picked up just after 9 this morning, without your intervention I doubt it would have been picked up so quickly. Thanks you for your help in resolving this”.
