School to charge for parent parking

A primary school is planning to charge parents £45 a year to drop off their children, as it seeks to improve safety and reduce parking disputes with local residents. St Gregory’s Catholic Academy, in Stoke-on-Trent, intends to build a car park and drop-off area on one of its two playgrounds.
