Has Wednesfield in Bloom Boosted Local Trade?

I know times are tight for small traders and Shop-Keepers in Wednesfield and Ashmore Park.

But today a Journalist asked me if all the hard work that we have put in on Ashmore Park and Wednesfield had increased trade for the Local Traders?

He particularly asked me about Wednesfield in Bloom.

Now I know that we have seen a lot more people coming into Ashmore Park Shopping Parade over the last two years. I know that from the correspondence I have received from people telling me that they had been into see the flowers on the Parade, or that they had “congratulated us on making the areas more attractive”

Clearly, it’s difficult to know what individual businesses has done. But I wonder if individual traders would message me and tell me what they know has happened to their trade.

I won’t mention names if that is required. But it would be great to receive some confidential information that what we are about (Wednesfield in Bloom) has raised your trade, or the work that has been done has increased footfall….Please help with a short message or an email to email@philbateman.com

My own thoughts are that all our effort we put in cannot really reduce footfall, and if you have increased footfall trade really cant fall can it? Please help with this and let me have your views as a trader in Wednesfield, and in Ashmore Park.
