It was a bitterly cold day today and that kept many people indoors. But still The Hub at Ashmore Park was welcoming attendees for their Covid-19 testing. 88 people presented for testing today.

• 88 – Individuals had Negative Tests
• 0 – Positive Cases were identified
• 0 – Invalid Test

Councillor Phil Bateman said – “Hooray! That is the first time that there have been no attendees who tested Positive for Covid-19!

That is really uplifting news .

We have had a ‘first’ and people living here in Wednesfield, should be pleased that this little bit of evidence is so darned good!
Cumulatively, since the first day of opening on the 21st January 2021 we have now had 1751 individuals tested.

But today not one person, was identified as being Positive.

Let’s hope we have turned the corner. Now is not the time to stop testing. Can I please appeal to residents, shops and business? Please encourage everyone to pop a long to your local testing station at The Hub at Ashmore Park and test. We need to defeat and continue to resist this virus We can do it – #working4wednesfield!
