August is a great month in Wednesfield – It’s the Anniversary of the Great Battle of Wodensfield, from which the Village get its name. The dates are the 5-6th August. Wolverhampton City in which Wednesfield Village is located will be flying the City flag to commemorate the anniversary of this important Battle. I am asking residents in Wednesfield to do likewise!
