As you are aware recently on this site I have been campaigning to raise awareness about the threat the Conservative Government poses to local Pharmacies. Here in Wednesfield North we have two local Pharmacies, one located in Ashmore Park and the second located at the Pheasant shopping parade.
Both of these Pharmacies are collecting names on a petition because they feel the Governments plans for Pharmacies will impinge on the smaller independent stores, and will ultimately lead to closures of local Pharmacies.
Now our Local Pharmacies have sent me information that suggests that The Government Pharmacy minister Alistair Burt estimates 1,000-3,000 pharmacies will close because of funding cuts in England.
If you are passing these two local Pharmacies in Wednesfield North, Pop In and ask to sign their petition!
