The Wednesfield North Community Excellence Awards have now closed to nominations, I want to thank everyone who took part in the process and nominated a person, a club , a business, for one of these awards.
I can announce today that the date for the Awards is Friday 19th November 2021. The venue will once again be the Ashmore Inn, our own community interest Public House. I want to thank the new Landlady Tina, for the use of the venue yet again.
This year we are expecting Scott Lyons to assist your three City Councillors Rita. Mary and myself, in holding the Awards together with his own brand of humour and experience gained over the decades working for Local Radio stations, and other great events.
I will be announcing more information of the event in the days running up to the expected great night in the Ashma!
