Local Government Boundary Review Underway.


The Local Government Boundary Commission for England has now launched its public consultation inviting proposals for a new pattern of electoral wards for Wolverhampton.

The Commission has indicated that it intends to recommend that 60 councillors should continue to be elected to the council in future.

It is now inviting proposals from the council, interested parties and members of the public on a pattern of electoral wards based on that number of councillors. This public consultation will run until 29 March 2021. Councillor Phil Bateman said “If you are interested in making your views known you can find more information by taking a look at
