I have been holding further discussions with Wolverhampton Council officials and the CCG around Mental Health and the arrangements that are currently in place around the provision of beds locally for mental health patients. This follows the quite outrageous issue where a Wolverhampton Patient spent 12 and a half hours on a trolley and not in a bed.
I am still shocked at this, and the more I delve into the supply of mental health beds, the more I can see the frustrations. It appears to me that the funding is not adequate for all that is required.
