National Grid Work- Leads to Acorn Road Complaints

national I continue to receive complaints about  the utility services site in Acorn Road.

National Grid are working from this site replacing gas mains in the area and although this work is not anything that has been procured by Wolverhampton Homes I am grateful to the Wolverhampton Homes team who have contacted National Grid and on behalf of local residents to try and establish how long their work will go on for. Wolverhampton Homes   have also spoken to them about the disruption for local residents with their start time’s etc.

They have confirmed that the work will be on-going until February 2016 and that the local contractor manager will speak to their operatives about early morning noise and the other issues that have been raised by residents.

I would like local residents to use the information on this sign if they feel that work or practices are not conducive to the situation.

The information is on this sign they have displayed on site with the relevant contact details if any of the residents want to  contact them to make a direct complaint Enquires are Telephone 0845 246 1285.
