Here is some good news for the Ashmore Park Shopping Parade as a whole.
Post Office to invest and re style Ashmore Park Post Office
The Post Office have decided to change the current Post Office lay out and facility which is located at the 50 Griffiths Drive Ashmore Park Shopping Parade. The PO want to redesign it into one of their new main style branches. The aim is to provide a modern open plan environment for customers, with a convenient retail experience for customers.
What will likely be seen as a real step up is the PO is that their plan is also to include Car Tax and a selection of on demand Foreign Currency sales. It is my view that with the longer opening hours this new style shop will be seen as very welcome investment into this important local shopping parade
Therefore the current Post Office facility will close on Tuesday 26th July 2016 at 17.30. The schedule informs that they are to re-open the shop at the current location on Thursday 11th August 2016 .
I hope residents, shoppers, businesses and other traders will like me welcome this decision to raise the Post Office profile and invest in the facilities that serve our locality.
