Drones among plans to help protect women at night
Women could be protected from stalkers and sex attackers at night by drones under plans to be submitted to the Government.
Company Drone Defence hopes to deploy its Aeroguard devices to deter would-be attackers.
They would use AI technology and be fitted with a powerful spotlight and thermal cameras. Anyone in fear of an attack would be able to use an app to summon the drone.
The technology will be trialled at Nottingham University to protect students and staff on campus.
Councillor Phil Bateman added that “this is the speculation in the the The Sunday Telegraph and Daily Mail.”
