A few days back ,I reported that during our walk around Wednesfield North Ward, this deep depression in the footpath came to our attention.
There was some speculation that it was a mine shaft by some. In fact though the Ashmore Park estate is well known for its coal mining past, this time it was not so concerning.
The reason this particular depression came about was attributable to the continued deterioration of a tree stump below ground level.
Our highway engineers have ensured that the footpath has been bought back to level.
I am pleased that I was able to help to make the path safer for everyone.we work hard as Councillors to keep our patch safe. #working4wednesfield
