Parking is a nightmare in many places in Wednesfield and across Wolverhampton.
Wednesfield North and Ashmore Park is not the only place in the City where there is a difficulty with parking.
But I have received a request from some residents in Snape Road, who are concerned that some cars that have been parked on the highway have suffered damage from other motorists.
Some cars have been damaged more than once, it is a serious matter for owners of vehicles.
Can I appeal to motorists – Please be very careful when driving on the narrow roads in our Ward, and to those that park in our streets. Please take notice of where you park.
Every day I receive complaints about cars parking in inappropriate places.
About cars racing on the highway, cars parking on grass verges. It is a real difficulty, but more can be done if individuals really do take notice about how they park, and where they park.
Obstruction of the highway and the footway is a police matter, as is the damage to property…please when you are driving and when you decide to Park take care of your vehicle and that of your neighbour, please think of others!
