Seventy five real ales – plus a wide range of ciders, perries and continental beers – will be on offer at the 40th Wolverhampton CAMRA Beer Festival next month.
Dubbed “Life Begins at 40”, the festival takes place at the Wulfrun Hall from Thursday to Saturday, June 11 to 13 2015, with hundreds of real ale lovers set to raise a glass to their favourite tipple.
The event is organised by CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, and Wolverhampton City Council and promises a wide selection of cask ales, ciders and perries and international bottled beers.
There will also be live music on the Friday evening, and a family room and charity tombola throughout.
Sessions are held on Thursday from 5pm to 11pm (admission £3), Friday from 12pm to 5pm (admission £2) and 5pm to 11pm (admission £5) and Saturday from noon to 11pm (admission free). Card carrying CAMRA members receive £1 off beer tokens on Thursdays and Fridays.
Councillor John Reynolds, Wolverhampton City Council’s Cabinet Member for City Economy, said: “The festival is a Wolverhampton institution and one of a number of big events which brings people into the city.
