Yesterday (Sunday) I placed a request for this car- park to be urgently attended too, as the drainage channel had become dangerous to cars and to pedestrians. You can read the request below. This morning Wolverhampton Homes Director has contacted me with this response.
“Councillor Bateman….good morning. Thank you for this enquiry I will make sure we organise a repair and keep you informed of progress Regards Director of Housing, Wolverhampton Homes.”
Now that is what I call a really good answer to the call for action. Well done Wolverhampton Homes.

Repair Car Park Now Please! I have had complaints from a constituent over the week end about the drainage channel on the car park that serves the Ashmore Park Shopping Parade, and its state of deteriation.
My constituents complain that the poor maintenance of this important facility is a danger to cars and pedestrians. The responsibility for the car -park maintenance lies with Wolverhampton Homes, and today ( Sunday) I have written to them asking them to take urgent action and make the car park safe for all users.
I will of course keep people informed via this web site and other social media sites that I contribute too, about the progress we make with regard to this request.
