Royal Visit Today – As Wolverhampton Attracts Attention!

 Wolverhampton is having a real good run of success just recently. Not  only is it winning Awards like the City of Wolverhampton’s multi million pound office and retail development, i10, which won the Insider – West Midlands Property Award 2016 recently.

The £10.6 million i10 scheme, developed in partnership with Neptune Developments, scooped the Sustainability Award,

But Wolverhampton is also attracting Local Government attention in the way that the City has faced up to, and implemented Government Cuts.

Today the 23rd November The City of Wolverhampton is to have  a royal visitor in the city today.

His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester will be in the city centre at lunchtime to officially begin the start of the Prince Albert 150 celebrations. 

As you will no doubt be aware, our famous statue of Albert Prince Consort (aka The Man on the Horse) is 150 years old this month. The Duke is the great great grandson of Queen Victoria & Prince Albert. He will unveil a plaque rededicating the statue.
