The Ashmore Inn- From Boozer to Food Bank!

Councillor Phil Bateman today said ” I am so proud of our Community here in Wednesfield North. The Ashmore Inn may not be open as a Public House, due to the Coruna Virus Pandemic, but that hasn’t stopped the Licensee using the newly refurbished premises as a volunteer run Food Bank!

Licensee Kevin Ward recently said this about the generosity of the community…. “How good is the Ashmore… You should be very proud of yourselves… your donations mean a lot, especially to those who have no food. Please keep donating guys Thank you all for your support. Ashma ay we.”

As members of the community-Mary and I, decided we would also muck in and do our bit! So this morning Kevin opened the doors of The Ashmore Inn and received our donation to the Ashmore Food Bank.

Now the reason for this post, is to encourage you that are reading this. Please find a tin, some moisturiser, cleaning fluids, detergents, food, Please do your best. Our Community, and many in our community are having a really hard time…”

So today we join together with Kevin, with this appeal, our big message of the day! ” Please give generously, and help the Ashmore Inn deliver a great Food Bank Service.”
