The Children’s Society -Have You Thought of Giving?

We collect all year for The Children Society by collecting spare change that Mary and I have. Everynight we transfer that change into collection boxes.

This is on top of the regular support we give to Cancer Research, and the local charities here in Wednesfield and Wolverhampton. The Childrens Society collect what we have saved each year and it goes to their Charity, through the good services of Roger Poole at St Thomas’s Church.

This year Roger informs that almost £70 was in our collection boxes this year. Not a huge sum by any means, but a useful sum for The Children’s Society nevertheless!

I like the Childrens Society as a charity and I am pleased that they use our modest support so actively. If anyone is considering taking up a charity, in the coming months. Maybe you to would consider collecting for The Children Society? If you are interested – contact me on email@philBateman.com and I will pass on the information to Roger!

Its a very painless way of collecting, and they do such a great service for Children!
