Today Is International Women’s Day!

IMG_0275 Sue LaceyToday is International Women’s Day, and of course it is right that we should celebrate the role and the commitment that Women have in our every day lives, in the workplace, and the inspiration they show in urging better life experience for all.

In highlighting this important day, can I use Head Teacher Sue Lacey, who through her work here in Ashmore Park Nursery School, and Phoenix Nursery School, shows great commitment to education, to young people, to workforce training and through our great links with Sweden!

Sue is an inspiration to those of us that work with her on our local Board of Governors, through her commitment in education, training, cultural diversity that she encourages us all to recognise and the international links that we have forged locally.
