Wednesfield North Labour Party Met Friday…..

We have had our Wednesfield North Labour Party meeting tonight.

We held it at The Hub at Ashmore Park . It was a very interesting meeting attended by Emma Reynolds our MP. Members had chance to speak with Emma about Labour Party Policy and the recent Leadership election.

Members also heard that here in Wednesfield North our Party membership had grown by a massive +156% . Now I have been a member of Wednesfield North for well over 40 years. I have never seen our membership at his level. The election of Jeremy Corbyn has certainly stirred interest!

We are looking forward to campaigning for the next years Local Election, as we also gear up to the possibility of a Referendum debate about the European Union – Shall we stay in – Or out!

We also heard that the Boundary Commission is to re visit proposals later in the year or early next year.

It may be that Wednesfield North Labour  Party has to fight this battle all over again…..rumour has it that the plan is to again suggesting Wednesfield North & South be pushed towards the Parliamentary Constituency of Walsall North.

We will have to wait and see…..IMG_0126 (2) Keep Wednesfield Together
