Wednesfield Remembrance Day Parade – Sunday 12 th November 2017

The Wednesfield Remembrance Day Parade is still  taking place as usual. No one has told me any different.
The March is due to leave from the normal starting place The Royal British Legion Woodend at 8.55 or there abouts.
I know that many Wednesfield people may be confused that our Local Paper whilst publishing other Wolverhampton events on the day
has not published our event!
Some readers may be thinking that the long established Wednesfield Remembrance Day Parade has stopped?
Well it hasn’t to my knowledge!
Rally round folks, those that want to watch/take part in the Parade and March –  will turn up at the Royal British Legion as they always do. Then join as the March then heads into the Village and parades outside St Thomas’s Church.
It is a real shame that our Local newspaper the Express and Star when publishing other events on Remembrance Sunday has missed our well attended event off their list!
Ahh well that is their own problem….no photos will mean them selling  fewer papers!
I will however have photos and a report on the day on my Twitter and Facebook sites as well as on www.philbateman.com
Councillors Rita Potter ,Mary and Phil Bateman will be attending the Wednesfield Remembrance Day Service as we always do!
