Here is the Christmas Lights being switched on by the Mayor of Wolverhampton Cllr Barry Findlay and his Mayoress. There was a huge crowd and the High street was a wash with people.
The Christmas lights were organised by’ Hands on Wednesfield’ a group of Volunteers who raised the finance through Crowd Sourcing, then worked in partnership with the City Council.
It was a great night. Highlights included the Christmas Crib, the Switch on, Dancing, Fire Eaters, and the rides for the kids. Music and chat was provided by Signal Radio and Dickie Dodd who did a really great job…..Well Done Wednesfield!
