Woodend Royal British Legion deserve a great big ‘thank you!’
Why? Well the other day our Local British Legion Club contacted me and told me that there was a big box of food at the Woodend Branch, and would the Ashmore Park Food Bank like to have it donated.
I couldn’t manage to get there today, but my darling wife Councillor Mary Bateman, agreed to go and collect it from the Club this morning. Which she did. Then she delivered it to St Albans Church where the Food Bank operates out of .
Mary drove up to the RBL Woodend loaded the big box into her car, then she delivered it to the Church this morning. Big Thank You from me to Mary, and an even bigger thank you to John Bolger of the RBL Woodend, for thinking of our fantastic Food Bank. It will be used in a really great way…..
