Councillor Phil Bateman said “Today is designated the UN World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.

Here in Wednesfield we can take part in this movement today by taking just one action.

Why not play a part in this day by visiting your Local Library and see what is on offer that will assist you in playing a part in cultural diversity. How about for example by reading a book or a paper. Accessing the computer suite that is available in our Library here at the Hub.

Involve yourself by reading one of Today’s newspapers that are available at the Library, and then pass on the knowledge that you have  picked up from these sources to others by conversation.

Use your Library at The Hub on Ashmore Park to discover your World, both locally regionally and internationally! We have a great facility here which is part of our own cultural diversity,

We all believe in public service and the provision of Local Library services are very much part of our own culture. Play your part by discovering what is available in our community by popping along to the Library and have a chat with the Librarian, and a ‘cup of tea’ in the café. All are found together at The Hub on Ashmore Park!

Feel proud that you have taken part with millions of others, in a world wide movement today, by being part of  this “World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.”
