I have great pleasure in announcing that once again we will have two Explorer Cruises arriving in Wednesfield for next year 2017, this is now arranged and the planned visits to the Bentley Arm at Bentley Bridge in Wednesfield are as follows: These Explorer cruises can have as many as 20 individual Narrow Boats arriving together. This creates great ‘colour’ and ‘character’ on our beautiful canal. It also brings tourists into Wednesfield, our historic village.
- May – Cruise on Wednesday to arrive at the Bentley Arm 17th May,.
- June – Cruise on Thursday to arrive at the Bentley Arm 15th June
This is great news for Wednesfield as we again build a visitor reputation with boat owners and leisure seekers from across the Country.
I will be meeting the organisers and the tourists visiting Wednesfield as I have done since we started to attract the Explorer Cruise organisers attention on the Wyrley & Essington Canal.
