I have contacted the City Council concerning the work being undertaken by one of the large Utilities, which have taken over the island at Acorn Road on Ashmore Park for the maintenance of under ground pipes.
Residents have contacted me because of the ‘spoilheaps’ and the unprotected nature of the site.
They are requesting a time line on the length of time the work is being scheduled for.
I contacted Wolverhampton Homes and I am informed that the Estate Manager made a visit on Friday afternoon.
Further enquiries are to be made to establish who is carrying out the work and who is in charge of managing the contract, so that we can find out how long the work will take and receive reassurances that the ground will be restored to how it was, prior to work commencing.
