Recently I dialled 999 and reported a number of men on the canal tow path between Broad Lane North bridge and Castlebridge on the Lichfield Road in Wednesfield, who had air guns and were shooting at the wild fowl. I have asked the Police if they were successful in apprehending the people.
Sadly they were not able to locate the men.
Now my appeal is to the neighbours or users of the canal ….Did anyone see these guys and recognise them?

Again if you have any information please let me know. I am trying hard to get this stretch designated as a Wild life reserve, we can do without this sort of illegal action. So any information you can give will be passed on by me to the authorities.
