I want to warn my constituents in Coppice Farm to be on their guard and be very watchful. If you see anything suspicious please contact the Police. There have recently been 4 burglaries in homes bordering the Walsall boundary.
I would like to remind constituents to remain vigilant, ensure properties are not left insecure and very importantly not to leave items in around their properties that can be used as tools to force entry.
I am pleased to be able to report that Wednesfield Police neighbourhood team have visited all of the victims of the crime and posted crime prevention literature to a number of neighbours.
The Police have extended the area and instructed further houses to be offered crime prevention literature.
I am also pleased to have to report that the Police have told me that they have “increased focus on the area in terms of patrols, both during the day and night.”
The offences are being investigated by Wolverhampton CID and in fact a male has been arrested and charged in relation to one of the offences. There have also been two further arrests in relation to two people acting in suspicious circumstances close to the vicinity. Enquiries are on-going relating to that incident. I really do ask neighbours in this community to be watchful and look out for each other!
